I’m Alexandros Mentoudakis — a full-stack developer who turns complex ideas into reliable, production-ready software. I design the architecture and data models, build the APIs that power them, and craft the interfaces people actually use. With more than 5 years of experience, I take products from ambiguous requirements to systems built to scale.
I started on the frontend, focused on building interfaces that felt intuitive, responsive, and polished. But as the applications grew more complex, I became increasingly interested in what was happening behind the screen — how data was modeled, how APIs were designed, and how systems handled real-world scale. That curiosity eventually pulled me into backend engineering.
Today, I work across the entire stack, from designing databases and building APIs to creating the interfaces that bring everything together. Working on both sides has taught me to think beyond individual features and understand how each decision affects the system as a whole.
Outside of my professional work, I’ve been exploring embedded systems and microelectronics as a hobby, building hands-on projects with ESP32 microcontrollers and learning how software interacts with hardware at a lower level.

A simple, intuitive expense tracking application for managing personal finances, monitoring spending habits, and gaining a clearer picture of where your money goes. You can store expenses, income and display your progress in various charts.
An IoT-enabled DIY smart locker project built with an ESP32, keypad, and display, using MQTT for secure communication between the device and backend services. The project combines embedded hardware, real-time messaging, and access control into a compact connected system.
Full-Stack application for an Olive Oil producers who want to keep track of expenses and income of their harvest each year. They can record their harvesting days, how many sacks of Oil they gathered and how much Oil those sacks produced. In which factory the brought the grain and much more.
